So much of the empowerment and ownership of birth has been removed by our modern medical system. While I don’t think this was ever the intent, it has caused the mindset for many to view child birth as “routine” procedure. Through my photography I hope to help mothers rediscover the beauty in their birth stories. I hope to capture their power and the accomplishment birthing their baby truly is, no matter how their story unfolds.
